As the family go to dessert maker and event planner, Carlette Gray officially started Carlette’s Pop Up Shop in 2020 with the intentions of doing a one time pop up shop offering chocolate covered strawberry treat packages for Mothers Day.

As the creative mastermind and owner of Carlette’s Pop Up Shop, Carlette found herself thriving in her lane. Quickly expanding her menu options, which now includes more chocolate dipped treats, as well as baked goods.

Carlette’s Pop Up Shop is now Halifax’s most requested luxury treat & delectable dessert shop. As a first time entrepreneur, Carlette prides her self on showing young Black girls in Nova Scotia, that owning their own business can be a reality.

Most recently, Carlette has offered a variety of luxury picnics for all occasions, as well as personalized custom party favors.
